Watch those attachments

The rule: Save time by avoiding unnecessary attachments or files that look like attachments.

Don't use graphics files as logos or signatures that appear as attachments. It just wastes recipients’ time as they try to see if there's something to open. Even worse: sending text as an attachment when it could have been included in the body of the email.

Key takeaway: Nobody wants to spend time clicking files and waiting for programs to load.
